The “Where Have I Been Post”

Tuesday, January 16th, 2007

It’s been a while, and I know my loyal readers have been missing me. So to bring you both up to speed, here is why I have been gone.

The Holidays
I actually enjoyed being able to just bum around a bit, picking up my computer less during the holiday season.

The Office
I got the DVD of Season 1 and Season 2 for Christmas, so I have been busy. Oh so funny, it has to be one my favorites. Does your office have a Dwight Schrute or Michael Scott?

Windows Vista
Much of my time has been consumed with trying to understand all of the new technology at play in Windows Vista. A lot is changing, and with all change, some you will like and some you won’t. If anyone knows what a user name computername$ does, I would love to know. Like if your vista computer name is “VistaComputer” you will have a user called VistaComputer$ that is running some svchost.exe processes. But you won’t see it. It runs behind the scenes.

Lots of Other Exciting Stuff that I can’t tell you about yet. Stay tuned. It’s gonna be a BIG first quarter.
