Create another data file (pst) move many of your emails to it. Then compress your original pst file. The compress many take over 2 hours.

Thanks for articulating your frustration, which I now share. I got the same Microsoft valentine last night. So what's the fix. At first, I was locked out to the point that I could not interact with existing files (as in being able to open or delete them). I got a "hot tip" that pressing Shft DELETE would e-mails disappear without sending them to Deleted Items. I thought that just getting rid of a bunch would make me well. WRONG!

So, what's the fix? I need to know.

Thanks for whatever you can share.
